PHTLS courses improve the quality of trauma care and decrease mortality. The program is based on a philosophy stressing the treatment of the multi-system trauma patient as a unique entity with specific needs. PHTLS promotes critical thinking as the foundation for providing quality care. It is based on the belief that, given a good fund of knowledge and key principles, EMS practitioners are capable of making reasoned decisions regarding patient care.
Open to ALS and BLS providers.
The HSI Emergency Medical Response for Non-EMS Personnel training program provides a detailed and comprehensive approach for managing out-of-hospital medical emergencies prior to the arrival of EMS.
The program is designed to provide non-EMS responders more depth and exposure to standard first aid training topics to provide richer and more advanced training. It meets and exceeds workplace first aid training requirements and satisfies the desire to learn more than just basic first aid without the burden associated with EMS provider training and certification.

Scene safety...BSI...
It is one of the first things we learn in EMT class, but it is something we end up commonly overlooking when arriving at scenes. Everyone knows the basics, but what about the not so obvious real world experiences that are the real silent threats?
Time is brain!
The faster you can recognize a stroke, the faster a patient can get the treatment they need to prevent or stop further damage to their brain.

Let our experienced staff show you how to help each other in an emergency.
Whether you are a veteran or a new recruit, we all have that "one call". How do we support our coworkers on that call? How do we support ourselves once that call is done? We can help your agency work through the toughest calls we face.
How many patients do you have on a pediatric call? Can it easily turn into an MCI? You obviously have the patient, but what about the parents? Other family members? How can your staff effectively treat the patient and everyone else involved? Let us help you navigate this complex type of call.
